Frequently Asked Questions

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo technique that involves using tiny, fine-point needles that make up a small disposable blade. The needle finely scratches the surface of the skin creating featherweight strokes on the epidermis layer of the skin. The technique creates thin, crisp lines giving the illusion of realistic natural hair strokes. With this technique, it creates an appearance of beautiful natural eyebrows.

How many sessions will I need?

Microblading requires 2 sessions.

The 1st Session will be the foundation for the shape and pattern of your eyebrows. After 6-8 weeks your eyebrows will be completely healed from the 1st session, there may be small areas or spots where the ink did not retain (this is normal).

Then during your 2nd session your eyebrows will be “touched up” to fill in or darken any areas that may need it.

Does Microblading hurt?

Most clients would describe the pain level as minimal. Each person’s pain tolerance will vary, tiny scratches will be made into the skin which can cause some slight discomfort. A numbing agent will be applied during the second pass.

How long does it last?

Microbladed eyebrows may last 1 - 2 years, pigments will slowly fade over time according to each individual's metabolism, skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, medication, facial surgery, and smoking.

Periodic touch-ups will ensure long-lasting results!
